Chris Setzler is a respected financial professional with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. After completing his Masters Degree in Healthcare Finance, he recognized the financial struggle that medical practices experience trying to provide services to their patients. He started his career with Independence Blue Cross to understand the reimbursement and patient care management system. From there he moved into healthcare delivery and joined Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. Within a few years from being hired as a practice manager, he was promoted to Administrator for the Department of Medicine at Graduate. Chris oversaw all financial and operational aspects of the Practice Plan, Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship programs. He often lectured and prepared medical students, interns and fellows on how to transition into private medical practices.
As Graduate Hospital was being acquired by a competitor, Chris understood the need for guidance and stability in the private medical sector. He founded Healthcare Provider Management, a company that focuses on adopting technology to increase efficiency and profitability for medical practices. He is considered one of the top experts in financial management solutions for medical practices.
